I tried the GRE analogies test. I liked that when I looked at my answers there was an explanation of why the correct answer was the correct answer. I later deleted my test to see if I could then retake it. It appears that I can. I like that a patron can continue to practice as many times as he feels he needs to. I also took the fourth grade reading test. The presentation for young people is the same as it is for adults. I wondered if a more kid-friendly format would be better.
Hi, Kim, I agree that Learning Express's explanation of right answers adds value to the resource. You can take the test as many times as you like, but of course, it is the same test. Some tests, such as ACT, offer a couple choices so you can get some variety. You're right that the presentation is the same for kids, but my understanding is that it is very similar to the format of the standardized tests they take. Please let me know if that is not the case. Thanks for your comments!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's true. My experience with standardized tests is that they are similar to this format. I had considered that while I was using the database.
