Well, I am very happy to have found this. I’m currently reading “Stolen By The Sea” by Anna Myers to my fourth graders. It’s about the worst hurricane in American history, which took place in Galveston, TX in 1900 and killed 8,000 people. I searched for Galveston Texas hurricane (without quotes) and found digitized photographs! I can’t wait to show them to my students.
