I chose "Animal Rights" from the scroll-down list. The topic overview section is nice because it gives the user background information and a place from which to start. It could be something users could refer to before committing to a particular topic for a research project as well. There were additional resources listed, major events on the subject, related articles, graphics, video, terms to know, and perspectives. It's a great amount of information for just the intorduction to the topic. Under research tools I looked at the notes organizer. What an amazing tool this is. The "My Analysis" feature is also very useful. It helps users work through their information, important questions, etc. to help choose a topic and organize their thoughts and work. The sidebar on the search results page that narrows the search by material type is useful. Also, realted subjects are suggested.
